The MICROLAB STAR can manipulate pin tools for custom micro and nano-volume pipetting.  Either the 96 or 384 channel multiprobe head can be used to pick up, dip and blot a floating pin tool type supplied by VP Scientific from which a variety of custom pin tools are available including 96 and 384 pin tools.  Multiple pin tool types can be positioned on the deck for continuous operation and longer walk-away time.
