Microplate Gripping: iSWAP
The iSWAP is a gripper tool that can access items on or off the deck. This robotic gripper is highly flexible with its vertical and rotary movement capabilities. The iSWAP may be used to automate these microplate applications:
- Storage
- Incubation
- Reading
- Washing
As with any STAR pipetting and gripping tool, there are no positional vectors to teach. The software automatically gets positions from the rack definition.
