Chemagic STAR

The chemagic STAR is the most flexible nucleic acid extraction robot on the market. The system is available with three extraction heads for volumes from 20 µl to 10 ml. A wide range of human sample material (e.g. blood, plasma, buffy coat, saliva, cells, tissue, buccal swabs) can be processed with the instrument. The extracted nucleic acids are ready to use in the fields of HLA-typing, Human Genetics, Pathogen Diagnostics and Virus screening. Depending on volume, quality and number of the samples, used protocol and configuration the processing time is between 2.5 and 4 h for two sample sets (2x12, 2x24, 2x96). This sums up to 72 high, 96 medium or 576 low volume samples that can be extracted per working day.
